JVC designed the small sized HD Everio GZ-HD10 thinking of the needs of budget-conscious users, yet it offers a high quality KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS and a 40GB hard disk that provides up to 16 hours of high-definition recording. The GZ-HD10's 1440x1080 AVCHD recordings are also up converted for playback at 1920 x 1080/60P via HDMI. Using the same technology as GENESSA HD displays, this function outputs a 1080 scanning line image at progressive 60fps so you can enjoy uncompromising picture quality on a TV that accepts 1080P input. With progressive, the jaggy diagonals you'd get with interlace images are smoothed out, for a clearer image.The HD lens of this camera was developed by camera specialist, KONICA MINOLTA, to ensure optimal lens performance for use with our CMOS image sensor and AVCHD recording technology.
